Octopuses- An octopus has eight arms, unlike you. Octopuses use their many arms to swim, eat, and survive. An octopuses predator are, the eel, the dolphin, the shark. usually these predator's swim by without even noticing their prey. But if they notice their octopus friend, then the octopus releases a cloud of black ink. The ink confuses the other animal, long enough to let the octopus get away. The octopus loves to eat, crayfish, shrimp, crabs, and mollusks. to find his food the octopus reaches behind and between rocks. you can learn more about octopuses at, http://www.nationalgeographic.com/animals/invertebrates/c/common-octopus/ THE END!

MANATEES- manatees are shy animals they are sweet but endangered greatly. many speedboats hit manatees with their propellers and the manatees get scars that can kill them. manatees live in Florida. Manatees live in, (not too shallow!) water and they eat sea plants. Manatees are relatives of.... ELEPHANTS! Christopher Columbus thought manatees were mermaids by their tails. and boy what a surprise he got when he saw a whole one! Manatees are also related to dugongs, sea cows, and more! what manatees are NOT related to is, Whales. Dolphins. you can learn more about manatees at http://www.savethemanatee.org/ or visit http://www.nationalgeographic.com/animals/mammals/group/manatees/ manatees are amazing animals.

DOLPHINS- are basically the most smartest animals under the sea. Maybe even in the world. They even have babysitters! Dolphins are (in a lot of ways) like humans. some dolphins need more space then others, when others are swimming right up to strangers! Dolphins can paint, put on amazing shows and A LOT of other cool stuff. Now lets talk about some predators to dolphins. Sharks like dolphins- for supper! But of course their not always a sharks snack. Dolphins can butt their head against a shark, and the shark will try and nip at the dolphin. The dolphins (mostly males 'cause their stronger then the females.) will crowed together and head toward the shark like an army. then the shark gets a little mad. The dolphins then butt even more hard, along with a few nips of their own. sometimes in the end of the fight the shark gets killed or the dolphin or the shark swims away. The males I was talking about, are called bulls. I like to think they are called bulls because they are as strong...
